Plymouth Township rescheduled its October council business meeting to Tuesday, Oct. 13, at 7 p.m.
The township announced Oct. 1 that the meeting, originally set for Monday, Oct. 12, has been pushed back one day. The township cited a scheduling conflict but did not specify the reason for the change.
The notice on the township's website asked residents to note the revised date. Plymouth Township also posted the change on its official X account.
No agenda has been released. The township has not indicated whether the data center zoning dispute or other high-profile items will appear on the Oct. 13 agenda.
Other Plymouth Township meetings in October
Plymouth Township Council is scheduled to hold a workshop meeting Monday, Oct. 5, at 6 p.m. at the Plymouth Township Building.
The Plymouth Township Zoning Hearing Board's next session on the proposed data center at 900 Conshohocken Road is set for Thursday, Oct. 15, at 7 p.m. The hearing will take place in the Karen B. Weiss Meeting Room at the Plymouth Township Municipal Building, 700 Belvoir Road, The Reporter Online reported.
MLP Ventures' Brian O'Neill has applied for a special exception to transform the former Cleveland-Cliffs plate finishing site into a 2-million-square-foot data center. The council formally opposed the application, as the Times Herald reported in July.
Residents with questions about the Oct. 13 meeting can call the township's administrative offices at 610-277-4100, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. The township website lists the municipal building at 700 Belvoir Road, Plymouth Meeting, as the regular meeting venue, though the rescheduling notice did not confirm the location.
