Bluestone owner: 142-home filing is defensive, not a building plan

Montgomery County will auto-replace rejected mail ballots starting in November

Montgomery County's Board of Elections approved an automatic ballot-replacement policy on Aug. 20 that will send fresh ballots to voters whose mail-ins are rejected for fixable errors, a change that could have saved 516 uncounted ballots in 2024.

Developer files plan to build 142 homes on Bluestone Country Club golf course

A Jenkintown developer has filed a conditional use application to build more than 140 homes on the nearly 130-acre Bluestone Country Club golf course in Blue Bell, the largest development proposal Whitpain Township has seen in 30 years, though an indefinite waiver means no hearing is scheduled yet.
