Families, faculty and staff in the Colonial School District can get flu and COVID-19 vaccinations at Plymouth Whitemarsh High School on Friday, Oct. 2.
The district is partnering with Eric's RX Shoppe, a Horsham-based pharmacy, to run the clinic in the school's North Gym from 4 to 6:30 p.m., according to the district's website. Pre-registration is required and closes Wednesday, Sept. 30.
Walk-ins are not accepted.
Vaccines offered
The clinic will provide four options:
- Flu vaccine for ages 3–64
- High-dose flu vaccine for ages 65 and older
- SpikeVax by Moderna (COVID-19) for ages 3–11
- mNEXSPIKE by Moderna (COVID-19) for ages 12 and older
Patients who want an updated COVID vaccine must be at least three months past their previous COVID-19 dose, according to Eric's RX Shoppe's website. The pharmacy, co-owned by Eric Abramowitz and Marc Ost, has been a COVID-19 vaccine provider since December 2020.
What parents need to know
Anyone under 18 must have a parent or guardian present at the clinic. Families who cannot attend with their child can download, print and sign consent forms through the district's registration link before the appointment.
The district asks all participants to complete the insurance section of the online registration form. Uploading a photo of an insurance card will speed up verification at the door, the announcement states.
Who is eligible
The clinic is open to Colonial School District families, faculty and staff. The district serves about 5,700 students across seven schools in Conshohocken, Plymouth and Whitemarsh townships, according to enrollment figures from the start of the 2026–27 school year.
