Whitemarsh Little League's Intermediate all-stars won the 2026 District 22 championship.
The title adds to a decorated run for the Lafayette Hill program. The league's website lists seven District 22 championships dating to 2014 across its 11-to-12, 10-to-11 and 9-to-11 age groups.
The league also completed three facility upgrades at Miles Park this year. A five-tunnel batting pavilion, built by Lancaster Pole Buildings and funded by the league and its supporters, opened in May after the Whitemarsh Board of Supervisors approved the structure on Sept. 11, 2025. The pavilion measures 70 feet wide by 76 feet long with a 14-foot inside height. A turf infield went down on the Majors field to reduce rainouts, and a new scoreboard went up Oct. 23. Players also wore new uniforms this season.
The league's "26 for 26" fundraising campaign raised $26,000, and a donor matched that amount dollar for dollar, bringing the total to $52,000.
In the spring rec divisions, the Giants won the 8U Machine Pitch title, the Expos took both AA and AAA, and the Cubs claimed the Majors championship.
