The Farmer's Daughter restaurant in Blue Bell will take part in Main Line Today Restaurant Week, a two-week dining event that kicks off Sunday, Nov. 1, and runs through Nov. 14.
The restaurant announced its participation in a Facebook post on Oct. 27, saying it would begin offering its prix-fixe menu Nov. 1 at 5 p.m.
Now in its sixth year, Main Line Today Restaurant Week features 38 restaurants across Philadelphia's western suburbs, according to Main Line Today. Participating restaurants offer three- or four-course prix-fixe lunch menus at $25, $30 or $35 per person. Dinner menus run $30, $45 or $55 per person. Prices do not include tax, beverages or gratuity.
Restaurants choose which days during the two-week window to offer the special menus, according to the event's information page.
Rob Martinelli, president and CEO of Today Media, which publishes Main Line Today and produces the event, said the promotion is meant to support local restaurants. Martinelli said the event "invites you to discover new flavors and venues at an unbeatable value while celebrating and supporting the incredible restaurants that define the Main Line and western suburbs dining scene."
The Main Line Today article names several participating restaurants, including Tavola Restaurant & Bar, Rosalie, Pizzeria Vetri Devon, Pietro's, Estia Taverna, Maris Mediterranean, Lola's Garden and Terrain Café. The full list of 38 participants is available on the Main Line Today event page.
Menus for each restaurant will be posted in advance so diners can plan ahead. Residents looking for a prix-fixe deal close to home can check the full participant list for additional options near Plymouth Meeting and Blue Bell.
