Whitemarsh Valley Country Club in Plymouth Meeting will host a private fireworks display at 9 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 6.
Whitemarsh Township posted the notice on its official X account Sept. 6, alerting residents to expect noise and light from the display. The township did not identify the private event behind the fireworks.
The township has posted similar notices for the club before. A private fireworks show at the same location on July 5 was scheduled for approximately 9:30 p.m.
The township also posted advance notice on June 29 of multiple private fireworks displays around the July 4 holiday, including shows at Union League at Liberty Hill and Green Valley Country Club on July 2.
Residents near the club may hear loud booms and see flashes beginning around 9 p.m. The township's notice did not include an estimated duration.
No additional private fireworks displays in Whitemarsh have been announced beyond Sept. 6.
