Plymouth Whitemarsh High School students head into a full week of Homecoming events starting Monday, Oct. 12, and running through Saturday, Oct. 17.

The school's announcement lays out five themed Spirit Week dress-up days, four evening competitions and the Homecoming football game against Upper Dublin High School. The week wraps with a High School Musical-themed dance Saturday night.

Here is the day-by-day breakdown for students at the Plymouth Meeting school.

Homecoming Dance

Saturday, Oct. 17, 7–9:30 p.m. in the PWHS Cafeteria. The theme is High School Musical.

Friday's Yellow-Out ties PWHS to a cause already familiar across the Colonial School District. Third graders at Conshohocken Elementary raised $1,200 for Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, as we reported Oct. 7. The foundation has raised more than $300 million for pediatric cancer research.

Conshohocken Elementary teacher Christine Donovan, speaking about her students' lemonade stand on Oct. 5, said they "wanted to make sure everything was perfect and were so invested in the success of the stand every day." The PWHS Yellow-Out on Oct. 16 continues that connection at the high school level.

The school said families can find additional details, including class-specific information, on Canvas class-year pages. Emails with more information have also been sent home.
