A tractor-trailer overturned near Pennsylvania and Indiana avenues in Whitemarsh Township on Thursday, Aug. 27, leaking fuel and closing the road near the Pennsylvania Turnpike interchange.
Police said the semi rolled over around 4:51 a.m. as it came off the turnpike, 6abc Philadelphia reported. The tractor began leaking fuel after the crash, according to officials.
No injuries were reported.
Officials said the road would remain closed until the crash was cleared. No reopening time had been announced as of Thursday morning.
The cause of the rollover has not been disclosed. Police have not identified the driver or the trucking company involved.
Motorists should expect delays near the turnpike interchange on Pennsylvania and Indiana avenues.
