Plymouth Square Shopping Center on Ridge Pike is filling three vacancies with new food tenants, bringing a Middle Eastern fast-casual chain, a bakery franchise and a New York smash burger joint to Plymouth Township.

NAYA appears closest to opening. The chain has been advertising for staff for over a month, according to MoreThanTheCurve, which reported on the restaurant wave Monday, Aug. 24. NAYA is taking the former Five Guys space in the 234,709-square-foot shopping center at 200 Ridge Pike. No opening date has been announced.

Founded in New York City in 2008 by Hady Kfoury, who was raised in Beirut, Lebanon, NAYA serves customizable bowls, wraps and salads in a build-your-own format similar to Cava. The chain operates roughly 40 locations across five states, with the nearest existing location in Center City Philadelphia. The shopping center map was updated in December 2025 to reflect NAYA as a tenant.

Nothing Bundt Cakes was added to Plymouth Square's tenant roster in March, taking the 1,648-square-foot space previously occupied by Happy Maki, which closed in September 2025. As of Aug. 24, no construction activity had been observed at the site and no opening date has been set. The bakery chain has more than 600 locations across the U.S. and Canada. The Plymouth Township store will be its 16th in the region, joining existing shops in Wayne/King of Prussia, Collegeville and Ardmore.

7th Street Burger, a smash burger chain based in New York, signed a lease at Plymouth Square in July, as reported by MoreThanTheCurve, citing the Philadelphia Business Journal. The opening is targeted for late 2026 or early 2027. The restaurant is expected to occupy the space vacated by Federal Donuts & Chicken, which closed its Plymouth Square location around the same time. 7th Street Burger is also expanding elsewhere in Pennsylvania, with two Philadelphia locations in Fishtown and on Chestnut Street listed as opening soon.

Nearby in Whitemarsh Township, Boostin' Bowls is preparing to open at 428 Germantown Pike in the Shops of Lafayette Hill. Jenna Cardello opened the original location in Manayunk in 2017. She and business partner Tim Spinner are behind the Lafayette Hill expansion. Interior work was nearing completion as of Aug. 24, though no opening date has been announced. The new spot will be larger than the Manayunk store and will offer more seating.

"I opened about nine years ago. Acai bowls were not a thing quite yet on the East Coast, and we were honestly one of the first places in Philadelphia to do it," Cardello told What Now Philadelphia in June when the expansion was first announced.

7th Street Burger is targeting late 2026 or early 2027. No firm dates have been announced for NAYA or Nothing Bundt Cakes.
