Whitemarsh Township's Parks & Recreation Board will hold a virtual meeting on Tuesday, August 4, giving residents a chance to follow the seven-member panel that oversees parks, trails and open-space planning across the township.
The township's Agenda Center posted the meeting on Tuesday. The full agenda document is available for download there, along with connection details for joining virtually.
The meeting comes as the township continues work on a Comprehensive Recreation, Parks, Open Space, Greenways and Trails plan. A public survey gathered resident input through Friday, May 1, and a visioning meeting was held Thursday, April 16.
Six board members are appointed by the Board of Supervisors; one serves as a Colonial School Board liaison, according to the township's board page.
