West Norriton business owner Aurora Stuski is challenging U.S. Rep. Madeleine Dean for Pennsylvania's 4th Congressional District seat.

Stuski, a Republican, announced her candidacy in a paid campaign announcement on Glenside Local. She owns AAS Appraisal Lab, an appraisal company in King of Prussia, and has lived in West Norriton for more than 35 years, where she raised three children.

The 4th District covers most of Montgomery County and part of Berks County, putting Whitemarsh, Plymouth and Whitpain townships squarely in the race.

According to her campaign website, Stuski is focused on cost of living, safe communities and giving residents more say in decisions that affect their neighborhoods. The site also raises concerns about a proposed 2.2-million-square-foot data center facility in Plymouth Township and criticizes Gov. Josh Shapiro's handling of developer appeals on the project.

Stuski's platform calls for fiscal discipline, border security and support for law enforcement, according to the campaign announcement. She also advocates for continuing work against PFAS contamination in drinking water, a concern that has touched communities across the district.

"I'm running because the people of Pennsylvania's 4th District deserve leadership that is clear, disciplined, and rooted in service," Stuski said on her campaign website.

Stuski, a Graduate Gemologist and Arcadia University graduate, chairs the West Norriton Republican Committee and serves as vice chair of Area 8. She was elected to the Pennsylvania Republican State Committee in May 2026 and served as a delegate to the Republican National Convention.

Dean, a Democrat from Glenside, was first elected to Congress in 2018. She serves on the House Appropriations and Foreign Affairs committees. Before her election to Congress, Dean served as an Abington Township commissioner and won a seat in the Pennsylvania House in 2012.

Spotlight PA's September 2026 congressional race guide rates the district "not competitive." Dean received nearly 60% of the vote in 2024.

No response from Dean's office regarding Stuski's candidacy appeared in public reporting as of publication.

The general election is Tuesday, Nov. 3. Voters can check registration and polling locations at vote.pa.gov.
