Stuski said in our candidate questionnaire that she is seeking office "because I believe government should work for the people it represents—not the other way around." She said she wants to "bring a practical, independent voice to Congress and focus on the issues that affect families and communities every day: the cost of living, access to quality education and healthcare, public safety, responsible government spending, small businesses, and opportunities for working families."

On the issues

Affordability and cost of living: Asked about her top priority, Stuski said in our questionnaire, "My top priority would be making life more affordable for Pennsylvania families." She said she would "support legislation that reduces unnecessary federal regulations, expands housing supply, encourages American energy production, strengthens competition, and provides targeted tax relief for working families and small businesses."

Montgomery County priorities: Stuski said her top priority for the county "would be affordability and quality of life. Families should be able to live, work, raise their children, and retire here without being priced out of their own communities."

Immigration and border security: Stuski said, "We need a secure border and an immigration system that is lawful, fair, and enforceable." She said she supports "legislation that strengthens border security, provides the personnel and technology needed to stop illegal crossings and fentanyl trafficking, and targets human trafficking and criminal organizations."

Health care: Stuski said, "Congress should increase competition, improve price transparency, and give patients and families more choices." She added that she would "support bipartisan legislation that lowers prescription costs, expands healthcare choices, strengthens transparency, and reduces unnecessary administrative costs without sacrificing access or quality."

Gun legislation: Asked about federal gun legislation, Stuski said, "I support the Second Amendment and the right of law-abiding citizens to legally own firearms." She added, "I do not believe additional restrictions on law-abiding gun owners are the best answer to violent crime."

Federal spending and debt: Stuski said she supports "a thorough review of federal programs to eliminate waste, duplication, and spending that does not serve a legitimate public purpose." She would back "stronger spending controls, greater transparency, and requiring Congress to identify offsets for new spending rather than continually adding to the deficit."

Energy and environment: Stuski said, "I support expanding responsible American energy production, including natural gas, nuclear power, and renewable sources."
