Colonial Elementary School's Fall Book Fair opens Thursday, Oct. 1, and runs through Wednesday, Oct. 7, during the school day in Plymouth Meeting. Families can start browsing and buying online a day earlier, when the Scholastic shopping portal goes live Wednesday, Sept. 30.

Parents can load a Scholastic eWallet so students can shop on their own at school. Through Scholastic's "Share the Fair" program, community members can donate to buy books for other CES students.

The week wraps up with the school's annual Ice Cream Social on Oct. 7 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. behind the school at the playground. The event pairs book fair shopping with ice cream and Kona Ice. Tickets cost $6 pre-purchased or $7 at the door. Walk-ins are welcome, but pre-registration is encouraged.

This is not a drop-off event. A parent or guardian must remain with their children throughout. Non-CES children may also purchase tickets and attend.
